Q. What is GRC 2022?

Grand Rummy Championship 2022 is a LIVE Rummy Tournament that will take place over a 2N/3D long escapade in Westin, Goa from 9th - 10th December 2022. GRC 2022 offers a total prize pool of Rs.50 Lakh. It consists of a combination of online qualifiers & offline finale for a select set of cash players from all states of India, except Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland & Assam.

Q. How do I enter GRC 2022?

You can participate in GRC 2022 by playing online qualifiers starting from 14th Nov 2022. On playing & winning a qualifier you will earn a ticket to the Weekly Finale. Winning the Weekly Finale will give you a Grand Finale Ticket to GRC Finale in Goa on 10th Dec 2022.

You can also enter the GRC Grand Finale DIRECTLY, by purchasing a Royal Entry ticket. On complete payment of the Royal Entry fee, you will earn a direct entry ticket to the GRC Grand Finale, LIVE in Westin, Goa.

Q. What is the entry fee to play in the GRC 2022?

There are different entry fee qualifiers that you can choose to play from. You can check them out right here.

Q. Is there a cap on the number of times I can play a qualifier?

No. You can play as many qualifiers as you want when GRC qualifiers are LIVE.

Q. Are tickets earned from qualifiers transferrable?

No. The tickets earned from qualifiers are non-transferable.

Q. Is there a way I can enter the Grand Finale directly without playing a qualifier?

Yes. You can skip playing qualifiers & directly enter the GRC Grand Finale with a 'Royal Entry' ticket.

Q. What if I missed the Weekly Finale? Can the same ticket be used next week?

No. If you have missed the Weekly Finale, you cannot use the same ticket to enter the next Weekly Finale. In this case, you will be required to play another qualifier happening during the day & win it again, in order to get a ticket to the next Weekly Finale.

Q. If I win the Grand Finale Ticket in the Weekly Finale, but can't make it to the main GRC Finale event in Goa, can someone else enter & play on my behalf?

Third-party members will not be allowed to play in the main event of the GRC Finale in Goa on behalf of the GRC finalist. The Grand Finale Ticket that will be issued in the name of the finalist will belong to him/her alone & will not be transferable under any circumstance.

Q. What if I have earned multiple tickets?

In case you have earned multiple tickets to the Weekly Finale, you can join only one tournament. For instance, if you have 3 Tickets to Weekly Finale, you can use only 1 to join the tournament. Moreover, the ticket to the Weekly Finale would expire the same day.

Q. Does having a ticket to Weekly Finale guarantee entry into Weekly Finale?

Having a Weekly Finale ticket does not guarantee a seat in the tournament. Weekly Finale ticket holders are required to register for the Weekly Finale Tournament. Entry to the Weekly Finale will be on a first-come, first-served basis. RummyCircle cannot be held responsible for any player not getting a seat.

Q. Is the prize pool for GRC Grand Finale guaranteed?

Yes. The guaranteed total prize pool offered in the GRC Grand Finale on 10th December is Rs.50 Lakh.

Q. How many tickets do I need to earn to reach the Weekly Finale?

You only need 1 valid ticket to reach the Weekly Finale.

Q. If I qualify & win the Weekly Finale, do I win a cash prize?

No. There are no cash prizes to be won in the Weekly Finale, but you win a ticket worth Rs. 2,50,000 to the GRC Finale.

Q. How much is the ticket to the GRC Grand Finale worth?

The ticket to GRC Grand Finale is worth Rs. 2,50,000.

Q. Is the ticket refundable? What if I don't play the tournament, do I get some cash instead?

Tickets earned are non-refundable under all circumstances. In case you do not show up for the tournament, the ticket amount won't be refunded or compensated in any form or exchanged for any value.

Q. What would be the next steps after winning the Grand Finale Ticket to GRC Finale?

An Email/SMS will be sent to the registered email ID of all the GRC Finalists.

The player would need to click on the link provided in that email & fill up a survey form as well as upload their valid address & ID proofs (Aaadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID only).

(Please note: We would require these details to make hotel bookings for the finalist).

The consent form needs to be filled out within 24 hours of receiving the survey.

Once this has been filled & submitted, a RummyCircle representative will reach out to you on your registered mobile number to confirm the details sent.

All GRC Finalists will be required to present their valid ID Proof (Aaadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID only) to enter GRC Grand Finale tournament arena in Westin, Goa.

For GRC finalists - All details on who the player needs to contact on reaching Goa will be sent across to players post they have consented to their presence for the GRC Grand Finale in Goa.

Q. Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

No. All travel arrangements will be made by RummyCircle. When you win a ticket to the GRC Grand Finale, a representative will reach out to you.

The RummyCircle team will make travel arrangements only for the first 50 GRC Finalists.

The remaining GRC finalists will be required to make travel arrangements on their own, which will later be reimbursed as a special travel allowance of up to Rs. 10,000. This amount will be added to the player’s withdrawable balance on RummyCircle after registering at the GRC event venue i.e. Westin, Goa.

Please Note: The reimbursement will be valid only to those players who were present at the GRC event.

Q. By when will I have to confirm my presence for the event post winning the ticket?

You will be required to confirm your presence at the event within 24 hours of winning the GRC Grand Finale Ticket.

Q. Do I need to arrange for accommodation?

Accommodation arrangements will be made by RummyCircle, subject to submission of valid address & ID proofs (Aaadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID only).

Q. Will I share a room with other participants?

Yes. Players will be provided accommodation on a twin-sharing basis.

Q. How many players will participate in the GRC 2022 Grand Finale & what time does it begin?

A total of 75 participants will play the GRC 2022 Grand Finale on 10th Dec from 11 AM onwards.

Q. Will there be a party?

There will be a party along with breathtaking performances on 10th Dec, after the GRC Grand Finale tournament.

Q. Will there be unlimited food & drinks?

Of course! This one's on us! All meals & drinks will be served as per the itinerary on both 9th & 10th Dec. However, room service is prohibited & if done, it will be chargeable!

Q. Is there a dress code to be followed?

There is no formal dress code. However, you should dress your best with casual formals on the biggest Rummy night ever. Dress to please & win in style. Note: Slippers & shorts are not allowed.

Q. What is the GRC Grand Finale tournament structure going to be like in Goa?

The GRC Grand Finale tournament would be divided into rounds. Players will be required to carry their valid ID proofs (Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID only), before entering the tournament arena in Westin, Goa. All the rounds will be played offline in the presence of a trained dealer.

Q. Is the ticket refundable? What if I don't play the tournament, do I get some cash instead?

No, if you don’t play the tournament or do not make it for the tournament, your Royal Entry amount will not be refunded.
